About Kitty

My journey as a writer began when I was a teenager. I found comfort in putting my thoughts on paper, writing poems, stories, and lyrics that I kept mostly to myself. It was never about being seen—it was simply the way I expressed what was in my heart.

For years, almost no one knew I wrote. My notebooks stayed tucked away, and my words remained private. It wasn’t until recently that I found the courage to let the people closest to me know that I could write. Sharing something so personal was both exciting and terrifying, but their encouragement gave me the confidence to keep going.

One person who made a lasting impact was my daddy. He gave me the nickname Kitty, and he believed my writing deserved to be heard. His faith in me inspired me to stop hiding my songs and begin sharing them with the world.

Today, I write under the name Kitty, not because I want the spotlight, but because I want my songs to tell the stories that words alone sometimes can’t. I still value my privacy, but through my music, I can share pieces of my heart while keeping the rest of my story my own.

What began as a teenager writing in silence has become a dream I never expected to chase. Every song starts with a blank page, an honest emotion, and the hope that someone, somewhere, will hear it and know they’re not alone.
